Top Concerns About Tweens and the Digital World
Your results are in!
Hey Moxies Supporters! Last week, we asked you to share your biggest concerns about your child’s time online. Here’s how each issue ranked, from highest to lowest:
Toxic content
Unmoderated group chats & video content
Unfiltered search engines & unhealthy algorithms
Engaging with random strangers
We know how important these issues are when it comes to protecting tweens in the digital space. That’s why we’re building Moxies with these concerns at the forefront, ensuring a safe, empowering platform for our girls. Technology is constantly evolving and Moxies is staying ahead of the curve to set Gen Alpha up for success!
We always love to hear your thoughts. Here is some insight from our community:
“Although toxic content is also at the top of my list I worry that a combo of both toxic content and unmoderated chats together could stew a bad environment for kids online. They're really receptive and feed off of content they see and explore. I do also think there needs to be a balance between good moderation and just letting them grow - a weird balance the internet is still trying to figure out!”
“I want a safe space to share my ideas, beliefs, and just be myself. This is important to me because EVERYBODY has a story, and EVERYBODY should get the opportunity to share it with the world. ”
