Moxies Updates!

This past Saturday, we hosted our first Moxies event at GE Appliances’ Co-Create Space! The event offered girls the chance to unlock their creative confidence through a combination of digital art and community connection. The energy and enthusiasm of the nearly 200 mothers and daughters was truly inspiring.

Girls explored the 3D printers and laser cutters in the Maker Space. They got crafty, creating Moxies charm bracelets and necklaces, painting on our vibrant mural wall, personalizing tote bags, and drawing their own Moxies.

Additionally, we facilitated a thought-provoking Q&A session for mothers with Dr. Jacqueline Nesi and Remy Dowd, LCSW. We discussed the importance of creating safe online spaces for girls, nurturing self-esteem, and collectively striving for a brighter future digitally and in real life.
